What will you do in this role?
  • Develop and execute plans to align with the client's business strategy and deliver work in the full life cycle of Human Resources including but not limited to the following areas:
    • Compliance andemployee relations
    • Compensation administration and benchmarking
    • Benefits administration
    • Talent andperformance management
    • Employee communications
    • Training and development
    • HR Technology
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to serve as their trusted advisor.
  • Provide consultative guidance and coaching to support leaders in understanding the value behind recommended HR strategies and solutions for their organizations.
  • Maintain regular communication and updates throughout client engagements, ensuring that projects stay within the established timeline and budget.
  • Proactively anticipate and address challenges to support clients in meeting their desired goals.
  • Identify potential business opportunities with new and existing clients for additional services, both within HCM and other Sikich service lines, contributing to efforts to close new business.
  • In alignment with the team's marketing strategies, support and lead efforts to generate awareness and new leads, including participating in ongoing networking initiatives, developing relevant and timely thought leadership content, and delivering webinars.
  • Promote Sikich's company's values and initiatives of growth, trust, innovation, and diversity.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is required; a master's degree or HR certification through HRCI or SHRM is preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience across multiple disciplines and previous experience serving external clients is required.
  • Specific expertise in total rewards, talent management, and compliance is preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically and operate tactically to deliver solutions.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to build and grow trusted client relationships.
  • Self-starter mindset with excellent problem-solving and evaluative skills with high initiative and accountability.
  • Prior experience working in a fully remote role is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, result-orientated team environment.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work well independently and within a team, both in leading and support roles.
  • Ability to travel to client sites, as needed, and be responsive to client needs and requests, including during off hours, is required.
