Job Title: Contract and Licensing Consultant

Location: Topeka, KS - onsite

Department: Annuity Operations

Reporting to: Contract and Licensing Manager

Overview:

As a Contract and Licensing Consultant you are responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all our advisors when it comes to appointment requests and licensing. This fast pace role requires you to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, advisors and insurance carriers. In addition, you will also be responsible for phone calls, emails and existing agent contracting management.

What you'll do:


  • Review and process all requests for appointments and licensing submitted by our advisors
  • Create, update and maintain all agent records
  • Follow-up on pending contracts and appointments with insurance carriers
  • Answer phone calls and emails regarding agents' questions in a timely manner


Experience you'll bring:


  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all personality types and with all levels of staff
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • PC proficiency, ability to work on several platforms at once


Bonus Points:


  • Previous customer service experience
  • Prior experience working in either the insurance services industry or financial services industry
  • Bachelor's degree
