Job Description

School of Medicine - Dean's Office - Business & Finance

Prepare, review and analyze department budgets for the School of Medicine.
Provide monthly financial summaries and operational reports for the School and departments as needed.
Work closely with MU Healthcare partners to report and project annual Hospital funding of +$125M.
Partner with School of Medicine clinical departments on clinical budgeting and projections.
Perform complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various MU systems including healthcare, education, and research.
Reconcile accounts to ensure the proper placement of expenses.
Research and analyze information and uses standard practices to make informed judgments and recommendations.
Exchanges ideas and information, asks questions, and ensures parties/audiences understand the message.
Act as a back-up on various Dean's Office department processes as needed.

Shift Type: M-F 8:00 - 5:00
Office/Administrative Hours: Yes - Position will have Office/Admin Hours
Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: Yes

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $60,000 - $88,000
Grade: GGS-010
