Position Highlights:

  • Position: Manager, IT Applications - Workday

  • Location: Arlington Heights or Skokie, IL

  • Full Time

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (some off hours work as needed)

  • Hybrid Position: primarily remote, onsite as needed.

  • Local travel to Endeavor Health facilities.

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Workday IT Applications Manager to lead the development, optimization, and management of Workday solutions that drive operational efficiency, enhance user experience, and promote innovation. In this role, you will oversee the full solution lifecycle, fostering relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and advocating for best practices. You'll be at the forefront of identifying opportunities for process improvement while managing a high-performing team and collaborating across departments.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Workday applications.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to align technology solutions with organizational goals.

  • Develop and lead a team of professionals to achieve high-performance outcomes.

  • Partner with vendors to ensure Workday solutions meet or exceed business needs.

  • Drive governance, prioritize workloads, and lead committees to manage application strategy and execution.

  • Manage service delivery, including incident resolution, problem management, and system enhancements.

  • Enforce data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Oversee departmental budgets, talent acquisition, and policy development.

  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and represent Endeavor Health at industry events.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field OR equivalent work experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing processes or systems, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.At least 2 years of leadership experience; 3 years preferred. Familiarity with Workday applications and integrated healthcare systems a plus.

  • Unique or Preferred Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

    Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking for issue resolution.

    Ability to manage multiple complex projects efficiently.

    A proactive approach to innovation and out-of-the-box thinking.
