Sentara Health is recruiting a Vice President of Talent Acquisition & Physician Recruitment to work onsite in Hampton Roads, Virginia!

The Vice President of Talent Acquisition & Physician Recruitment is a key member of the Human Resources Senior Leadership team and is responsible for driving strategic talent acquisition efforts across all levels - colleagues, leaders, executives, and physicians - within a dynamic and evolving healthcare delivery system. This executive will work closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals, driving innovation in talent sourcing and cultivating a diverse, talented, and high-performance workforce. This role demands a results-driven, strategic thinker who can effectively lead teams, foster relationships with senior leaders across our lines of business and contribute to the overall success of our integrated delivery network.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Relevant graduate degree is strongly preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of 5 years in an Integrated Delivery Network or large healthcare system.

Job Summary

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Business Management, BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Human Resources, BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree (Required), MLD - Master's Level Degree Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of 5 years in an Integrated Delivery Network or large healthcare system.

Skills

Deep understanding of the current and evolving landscape of local, state, and federal laws, codes, and regulations pertaining to talent acquisition., Experience in utilizing data to inform decisions, track progress, and measure impact. Expertise in data analysis and the use of talent acquisition software, with the ability to make data-driven recommendations, Proven experience in developing and implementing successful talent acquisition and candidate strategies that support the diverse talent needs of the organization to include strategies moving towards a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the broader community, Proven experience in leading the talent acquisition function within the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of the complexities of talent acquisition for executives, physicians, colleagues, and leaders., Strong writing and presentation skills, attention to detail, project management and organizational skills, and excellent partnering skills including working collaboratively, effectively, and efficiently with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
