JOB PURPOSE:

The Lead Clinician provides a combination of program oversight, staff supervision, and direct service provision for Behavioral Health. This position will deliver care virtually and provide expert clinical support to other providers and training clinicians. They will collaboratively support the Endeavors Wellness Model with the Director of Behavioral Health. The Lead Clinician will ensure that clinical providers are providing treatment in compliance with established protocol and policy. The Lead Clinician will have training and experience in treating serious mental illness, and/or substance abuse recovery with demonstrated proficient in delivering evidence-based care to Military Veterans & their dependents, those experiencing housing instability, and other community members.


Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide direct service, perform and document the intake wellness assessment for clients as needed.
  • Complete treatment appropriate screenings, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, electronic health record documents and document progress.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy to clients, with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatments, trauma informed, evidence-informed and in collaboration with the Endeavors Wellness Model.
  • Meet regularly clinical providers to staff caseloads, review high risk clients, and keep abreast of urgent client current issues. Keep clinical providers informed of program information.
  • Work with leadership to establish training and development plan for clinical staff.
  • Provide Quality Assurance and regulatory compliance to client files. Provide on-going program evaluation and recommendations to the Director of BH and all other BH Leadership for continuous growth and quality.
  • Prepare and submit monthly program reports. Generate KPI, Outcome and / or other reports as requested by the Director of BH and / or other BH Leadership.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with other providers and interns to provide the best care to clients as needed.
  • Attend administrative meetings with Behavioral Health Leadership and Endeavors Leadership as scheduled.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service, in everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran, or client first to support our mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities."
  • Perform other duties as required.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five years of experience in a clinical setting is required. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience is preferred. Experience working with adults, couples, and families is required; experience working with children and adolescents preferred. Knowledge in DSM-5 diagnoses is required; Experience in serious mental illness diagnosis and treatment is required; Experience in substance abuse

disorder treatment, co-occurring diagnosis and treatment and substance abuse recovery treatment is preferred; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Must be highly organized and detail oriented.

LICENSES: Current license to practice as a Texas Social Worker or Professional Counselor to include the Supervisor credential required (LCSW-S or LPC-S).

WORK LOCATION: Hybrid work set up can occur, private, secure home office needs to be in place for any remote work. At minimum initial work from office (in-person) and then a hybrid in-office or in-home work can be reviewed, scheduled, and agreed upon to meet the mission.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice and possess a valid driver's license.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work nights and weekends as required to meet business needs. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others. Employees should expect to work one evening a week to accommodate the schedules of the clients being served
