Summary

As a Commodity Manager this invidual will be responsible for owning and leading global oil and filter commodity strategy for all regions. In addition, you will lead aftermarket commodity strategy and purchasing execution for North American Chemicals.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities

    Develop and lead CNH global oil and filter strategy, including owning global relationships with our oil, lube, additive, and filter suppliers. Represent and drive these strategies across the company, being our voice in senior leadership meetings at both CNH and our suppliers:
    • Enable CNH brands and marketing in all regions to delight our customers while driving aftermarket volume and profit growth of oil, lube, and filtration.
    • Globally coordinate across regions, meeting with production and aftermarket commodity teams periodically to stay aware of developments and provide direction and advice where needed.
    • Negotiate and own supply agreements, maximizing strategic and financial benefit from our partnerships, while keeping our supply chain engaged on our behalf.
  • Develop and lead North American aftermarket commodity strategy for Chemicals commodities, including tracks, filters, fluids, seals, plastics, rubber, belts, glass, seats, and acoustics. Own service-only relationships with these suppliers, making service-only sourcing decisions to ensure the organization and our customers receive satisfactory standards of service:
    • Negotiate and sign supply agreements, collaborating with production where needed, that enable CNH to delight its customers while optimizing financial benefit from our partnerships, keeping our supply chain engaged.
    • On-time delivery and supplier capacity to meet forecast demand.
    • On-time service-only sourcing of new PDP parts to support launch dates.
    • Backorder line reduction.
    • No-source or abandoned part line reduction.
    • Unit cost reduction including SSP implementation or parts where CNH brands can increase market share. Collaborate with production commodities for maximum impact.
    • Supporting stakeholder requests, field PIP support, and other needs as they arise.
  • Lead, direct, and give counsel to the North American aftermarket Chemicals team, to support the achievement of these objectives.
  • The annual salary range for this position is $129,000-$173,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Looking for a well-rounded professional with both purchasing and business experience to manage all aspects of this role.
