The Senior Physician Recruiter will lead comprehensive physician and provider recruitment efforts across UC Davis Health, including the School of Medicine. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber, diverse candidates in alignment with the organization's mission and DEI objectives. As a strategic partner, the Senior Physician Recruiter will work collaboratively with UC Davis Health departments and external partners to support all stages of the recruiting lifecycle.
This role demands advanced expertise in recruitment practices, market analysis, and candidate assessment. The incumbent will serve as a resource for faculty and senior administrators navigating recruitment protocols and ensuring an inclusive, streamlined recruitment experience.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare recruitment, with at least two of these years in physician recruitment.
- Advanced knowledge of sourcing strategies, recruitment advertising, applicant assessment, and full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Proficiency in recruitment and HR information systems & Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple high-level recruitments simultaneously.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DEI best practices in recruitment.
- Dedicated experience working with diverse stakeholders at all levels of a healthcare enterprise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Physician recruitment experience in an academic healthcare setting.
- Experience utilizing data analytics and reporting tools to assess and improve recruitment performance.
- Familiarity with Academic Personnel policies, credentialing requirements, and onboarding procedures.
