Test and Evaluation Engineer Springfield VA Pay From : $135,000/yr MUST : Active DoD Top Secret w/ SCI 6+ years of experience with Test and Evaluation experience software engineering for Federal / DoD space 3+ years of experience in test-driven development, including development of scripts for automated testing Experience with development tools such as JMeter and, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee or GitHub/GitLab Experience with development languages : Java, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, Python, and JavaScript Experience developing in AWS cloud environment Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Cucumber Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal Strong interpersonal skills to work with both piers and higher and lower level members of the team Strong interpersonal skills and able to work well with various level of clients and teammates Bachelor's Degree in related field or additional years of experience required DUTIES : Provide an understanding of and at time subject matter expertise in the traditional, Agile, and DevOps development practices and associated testing strategies, including test-driven development Help creation of plans and procedures for test evaluations and assessment Analyzes system requirements and concepts of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plan and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results Provides visibility into progress and impediments Supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration Provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas Execute test plans and procedures, confirm results of automated tests Provide some mentorship and direction to more junior members of the team Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
