This engineering role is focused on supporting both existing and new manufacturing processes, which are essential to the continued growth and success of the business unit. Responsibilities include overseeing processes and equipment involved in product assembly. The individual in this position will work independently and collaboratively to enhance existing processes, develop new processes, improve productivity or process capabilities, and troubleshoot any process-related issues. The ideal candidate should possess a strong commitment to continuous improvement, a willingness to acquire new skills, and a drive for self-actualization.

What You Will Do
* Provide support for current manufacturing processes by optimizing efficiency, implementing improvements and addressing issues.
* Develop innovative manufacturing processes to facilitate new product development, including material assessment and selection.
* Conduct research and provide recommendations for the procurement of new equipment.
* Investigate and identify the root cause of quality issues occurring in manufacturing, implement corrective actions, and document the findings.
* Responsible for enhancing and resolving issues related to tooling and fixtures utilized in product assembly and testing.
* Design and implement basic manufacturing tools and fixtures.
* Provide directions and necessary training to operators.
* Perform process validation and equipment qualification.
* Gather manufacturing data and conduct an analysis of production yield.
* Assist and support the integration of automated assembly systems.
* Facilitate prototyping and experimentation while critically examining the results.
* Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in engineering.
* 1 to 5 years' experience working in manufacturing setting.
* Experience in product assembly.
* Responsibility for a process or product as part of regular job function.
* Implementation of new manufacturing methods including training of others to execute a process.
* Minimal travel as necessary to support the above efforts.

* Strong mechanical aptitude to pinpoint machine failures and improvement opportunities.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams.
* Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments.
* Ability to read technical prints / drawings.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with intent to explain processes, propose changes, or establish technical requirements.
* Design CAD and 3D modeling skills.
* Growth mindset to challenge status quo and find new paths.
* Experience with data analysis tools.
* Measurement of process outputs to gage effectiveness.
* Experience performing RCAs, FMEAs, etc.
