Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Hybrid with our client in Tampa, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The candidate will work with a team of software and IT engineers to build high-performance, cloud-based solutions.
  • Support the development of open architectures and applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for Cloud deployment and consumption.
  • Support the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, and Micro-Services.
  • Support the architecture, design, development, troubleshooting, and implementation of cloud solutions
  • Work closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.
  • Effectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levels
  • Must be self-motivated and expected to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Report status on tasks and assignments.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
  • Must have at least an Active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Gitlab, SonarQube, Nexus, Twistlock/Prisma Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher, Openshift, K3S), Linux, AWS/Azure/GCP, and Terraform.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on-premise and cloud resources
  • Minimum 2 years of network and operating system experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in container management technologies like OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, Docker
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in using a source code repository such as Git, BitBucket, Mercurial, or Subversion
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in using a defect management system such as Jira, Bugzilla or Fogbugz
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Agile development methodologies
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Be able to generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.
  • Be able to perform effectively as part of a project "team".
