What you'll be doing...

Verizon is looking for a Business Transformation Senior Manager to join our Marketing Transformation team within the Chief Marketing Organization (CMO). The ideal candidate will have a blend of project/program management and business analysis (process plus technology) within a Marketing function. The Senior Manager will report to the Senior Director of Marketing Transformation within the Media and Marketing Effectiveness organization and will partner across the CMO group to drive our transformation forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide program/project management for projects for transformation initiatives.

  • Partner with stakeholders across business units to analyze current business processes, workflows, and procedures to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Create process documentation and guidelines, including standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and user requirements for systems in production.

  • Develop and implement optimized processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity in collaboration with cross-functional teams to maximize satisfaction and minimize disruption to operations including configuring CMO's project management platform (Adobe Workfront) as needed.

  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development

  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented process changes, measuring key performance indicators, and making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.

  • Provide training and support to team members on new processes and best practices.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies,s and process improvement methodologies.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Marketing Transformation.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree. MBA a plus

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification

  • Working knowledge of project management tools including Adobe Workfront

  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret complex data.

  • Proven ability to manage projects and user testing including familiarity with agile and sprint planning.

  • Proficiency in technical writing

  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Strong organization skills, and hold others accountable to deliver on agreed expectations.

  • Experience leading change within organizations

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $125,000.00 and $232,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
