Position Highlights:

  • Position: Ultrasound Technologist II
  • Hourly Pay Range: $34.67 - $54.79. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.
  • Required Travel: Limited Travel

What you will do:

  • Perform a variety of advanced ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, gynecologic, and other specialized examinations, to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout examinations.
  • Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality and accuracy, demonstrating proficiency in various scanning techniques.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks on ultrasound equipment and maintain records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and image data in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure the safe use of ultrasound equipment and adherence to safety protocols, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images, provide input on patient care plans, and assist in clinical decision-making.
  • Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology, safety protocols, and clinical best practices through ongoing education and training.

What you will need:

  • 3 Years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with proficiency in advanced ultrasound procedures required.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • AHA Heartsaver CPR - American Heart Association (AHA)
