High School Diploma/GED plus two (2) years of experience in a research laboratory required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in biology, or related field.

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Works in cooperation with the supervisor to conduct animal behavior tests.

• Participates in the maintenance of mouse breeding colonies.

• Performs procedures in preparation of experiments.

• Maintains mammalian cell cultures.

• Performs basic biochemical and molecular biology assays.

• Maintains records of all tests and data collected.

• Discuss plans and research findings with other laboratory personnel.

• Supervises and trains students or other new lab personnel.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
