Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Center for Farm and Food (CAFF) is looking for a Business Educator to join our team to support an experiential learning, specialty crop, farm training program. CAFF was developed to support and enhance local and regional food systems in Arkansas by shaping the next generation of specialty crop farmers. CAFF uses sustainable production methods for fruits and vegetables production using equipment suitable for small- to mid-scale operations.

The Business Educator will i) teach the business curriculum in the CAFF programs, ii) coordinate with legal partners on the legal curriculum, and iii) identify sources of and implement pathways for participant financial aid. They will also lead the collection of metrics for educational and programs. They will work closely with other CAFF team members to coordinate education plans and scheduling and enhance participant learning. They will support the CAFF director and UA faculty in monitoring progress and achievement of CAFF goals and work to build relationships with outside resources.

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits through the University of Arkansas. The position is time-limited, ending December 31, 2028, with the potential for continuation. Other team members include UA faculty and staff and as well as several regional partners. Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in agribusiness, economics, finance or related business field, plus three years of relevant professional experience.
* At least one year of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
* Experience advising, providing consultation services or technical assistance to farmers.
* Farm experience preferred.

$69,000-75,000/yr.
