Summary of Position |
This full-time online/senior online professional faculty position is in the
UNH College of Professional Studies' Online Center for Business & Technology. CB&T programs help students develop a solid understanding of today's complex work environments and current approaches used in industry. From industry growth and job stability to competitive salaries and a versatile range of niche sectors, careers in business and technology have mass appeal. We educate and inspire those who are meeting complex challenges, advancing business and technology practices, and driving economic growth within our communities. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree (
MBA) and at least 5 years of online teaching experience in one of the following disciplines: Accounting/Finance/Leadership/Management/Marketing, and/or business-related disciplines.
Online Professional Faculty (
OPF) have specialized training and experience in an academic discipline, along with an appropriate academic credential and, in some fields, professional licensure or certification. These individuals are responsible for providing disciplinary expertise, program direction, curriculum development, and adjunct faculty oversight for professionally oriented degree programs. This faculty role will serve in a leadership capacity in areas supporting faculty, curriculum, academic success, outreach activities, and other areas as needed. Actual teaching load will vary with other responsibilities but will not exceed four courses per fiscal year. Online Professional Faculty are fiscal year employees.
This faculty will serve as program director for the following programs:

B.S. Business Management
B.S. Marketing

Acceptable Minimum Qualifications |
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's of Accountancy/Finance/Management/Marketing, or closely related business discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of online teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Proficiency with current technology standards such as Banner, CRM, e-portfolios, LMS, and other higher education systems is needed.
- Preference will be given to candidates who exhibit excellence in teaching, online curriculum development, and program management.

Additional Preferred Qualifications |
- Doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Leadership, Management, Education, or a related field.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Desire to work as part of a team in the department and within the division
- Candidates must be committed to mission and values of the UNH College of Professional Studies.
