What You Will Learn: We are looking for a Sr. Human Resources Manager to provide human resources business partner support for employees of L'Oreal West. The Sr. Human Resources Manager is an experienced business partner working closely with key managers and client groups throughout the organization and managing HR aspects including organizational design, performance management, recruitment, training, compensation, governmental compliance, organizational culture, and employee engagement.
- Human Resources business partner and day-to-day HR support for multiple entities within L'Oreal West - including our West Coast Luxe & PPD brand teams, as well as future LDB brand team support.
- Influence and help adapt the organization to align with business objectives and design and optimize organizational capabilities.
- Operate as a strategic and tactical member of the team, with a focus on implementing change. o Ability to work independently, while using best practices and knowledge of business issues to improve processes.
- Strategically manage careers on an individual basis by building development plans and defining training opportunities while utilizing the performance appraisal process for personal and professional growth. Monitor and drive the bench strength, identify high potential talent, and oversee career-pathing and management development.
- Champion work environment culture through exemplary employee relations and providing guidance/coaching aligned with our leadership values. C1 - Internal use
- Partner with talent acquisition teams on the recruitment strategy, selection, and hiring for open roles.
- Partner with teams to define the succession plans and workforce initiatives. Assess current and future talent needs and develop strategies to meet needs. Evaluate recommendation for structure improvements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and provide guidance in employee relations issues. Ensure that appropriate management and executives are advised of sensitive issues. Objectively provide expert advice and coaching.
- Oversee the maintenance and integrity of HR data within One Profile to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with data privacy regulations through regular audits, validation checks, and process improvement.
- Ensure adherence to local laws for entire group. Lead development, communication, and implementation of local strategic HR policies and programs.
- Prepare reporting and analyses as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in performance of all duties.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required.
- Minimum 7 years of proven human resources experience required.
- Experience dealing directly with senior management of an organization, with an ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization with HR partners in many different locations.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and consult with a wide range of management and employees for success.
- Working understanding of human resource principles such as change management, organizational design, talent management, training design, etc.
- Knowledge and familiarity of CA employment laws and statutes pertaining to EEOC, ADA, FMLA, OFCCP, wage and hour, WARN, employee agreements, etc. * Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn internal systems.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to build strong work relationships with all levels of the organization. Strong customer service focus. Must display executive maturity and manage emotions during periods of ambiguity, pressure, and uncertainty.

- Demonstrated leadership, communication (written/verbal), negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced and complex environment. Resourcefulness is key.
- Proven ability to successfully provide coaching, mentoring, and consulting to a wide range of employees.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with attention to detail, tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Ability to travel as needed to various company locations or external events to support HR initiatives and engage with stakeholders across the organization.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of business objectives, competitors, and market trends; flexibility and adaptability in an evolving business environment.

- Salary Range: $109,800 - $156,500
