The RPA Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions optimizing business workflow processes and increasing efficiencies inside an agentic AI framework. The RPA Solution Architect will engage business operations in the ongoing maintenance, enhancement and metric reporting supporting business needs, testing and bug-fixes.

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and understand business process automation candidates utilizing RPA & related AI technologies.

  • Design, develop, test, maintain and deploy RPA/AI scalable solutions using UiPath and/or other LLMs/RAGs.

  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to RPA/AI solutions.

  • Document RPA/AI processes and provide training and support to end-users.

  • Manage RPA bots, agentic processing, schedules, and related infrastructure components.

  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and industry trends to enhance RPA/AI capabilities and integrate intelligent automation solutions.

  • Ensure automation solutions are integrated efficiently and effectively into existing business processes and systems.

  • Lead and mentor technical teams, conducting code reviews and ensuring coding standards are maintained.

  • Developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.

  • Assisting in performing periodic audits for Robotic Process Automation

  • Ensure all RPA AI projects adhere to governance standards and ethical guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related work discipline/field from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible directly related post-degree experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or licensure/certification.

  • Experience in RPA tools and cognitive platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.

  • Experience integrating RPA solutions with ERP and EMR applications.

  • Working familiarity with generative extraction and summarization activities.

  • Working knowledge of various LLMs and RAGs

  • Document Understanding - Classification of document types and data extraction from structured, semi-structured and unstructured documents.

  • Ability to extract data and sentiment from messages (e.g. Email).

  • Strong experience and comfort with RegEx.

  • Experience with the following RPA programming techniques:

    • Development of long running workflow automations

    • RE Framework (Dispatcher/Performer, queue processing, error handling)

  • Demonstrable success in a professional senior technical role (e.g. technical lead, team lead or architect).

  • Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration.

  • Experience working various projects/issues in parallel consisting of high complexity requiring in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments

  • Demonstrated high ethical standards of professional behavior in dealings with clients, colleagues, and staff.

  • Proficiency with cloud-based AI platforms and managing AI services in cloud environments

  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and scalable AI platforms.

Pay Range

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.

Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (1.0 FTE): $124,800.00 - $165,484.80
