Description -Manage accounting records in accordance with credit union policies, procedures, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and NCUA rules and regulations. -Assist with the preparation of financial statements, as scheduled or directed. -Analyze and maintain Third Party reports ensuring balances are correct, and reconciliations are complete. -Analyze and maintain Credit Union Cash Accounts ensuring balances are correct and reconciliations are complete. -Analyze and maintain Fixed Assets, and Prepaids. -Analyze Credit Union income and expenditures, recommending accrual entries as needed. -Perform daily, weekly and monthly journal entries for accounting records ensuring accuracy of general ledger accounts. -Assist in submitting quarterly reporting of the NCUA Call Report (5300 Report), ensuring timeliness and accuracy. -Reconcile and maintain assigned general ledger accounts-reconcile daily, weekly and/or monthly, as scheduled or directed, ensuring accuracy. -Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account and general ledger information, noting or clearing any discrepancies within 30 days. Additional Skills & Qualifications MUST HAVE: -High School Diploma or GED required -Understanding of GAAP and FASB -Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or Accountant role -Basic analytic, financial modeling and reporting skills -Strong attention to detail and accuracy -Ability to input raw data into a summarized analysis -Strong time management and organizational skills -Ability to work in a time environment -Must understand financial statements NICE TO HAVE: -Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred -Previous experience in the financial services industry (banking, credit union, etc.) Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.32 - $24.32 * Medical, dental & vision * Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital * 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available * Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program * Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Boulder,CO.
