*Description*
- Receive daily loans for underwriting that have been assigned by the Underwriting Manager - Maintain responsibility for the underwriting of manual loans - Review and make decisions on bond loans and conventional loans from various investors and be proficient with all guidelines - Maintain frequent contact with the Processors, Mortgage Loan Originators and Branch Managers - Indicate the conditions and approvals and enter the information into the Loan Origination System or Empower -Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers *Skills* Underwriting, customer service, organized, Microsoft office, communication, written and verbal skills *Additional Skills & Qualifications* -Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred -One to two years of experience in the mortgage industry -FHA Direct Endorsement preferred -Strong written and oral communication skills -Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines -Ability to accurately and efficiently process and record a large volume of dat *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
