The Optimum Business Sales Operations Specialist will support the day-to-day management and governance related to all sales processes across a variety of channels and platforms meant to drive sales growth and streamline operations. High-level responsibilities include design and documentation of business rules and associated technical requirements, oversight of CRM and catalogs including both administrative and development project pipelines, as well as building strategic presentations or reports for management. They will drive sales volume and revenue growth through finding efficiencies and adding new functionality across the sales cycle from initial customer acquisition to subscription lifetime management. Supported by an expansive cross-departmental team, the working strategy must consider the needs of stakeholders across Product, Offers, Billing, Engineering, IT, and Marketing to define dynamic experiences as part of an omni-channel sales pipeline both internally and with external sales partners. This is a position that requires a dedicated professional and will have hands-on involvement in all sales and CRM system processes, with a particular focus on Salesforce.com based systems and catalog management within legacy billing platforms from Amdocs and Netcracker. Reporting to the B2B Manager of Sales Enablement, this role will be primarily supporting the evolving architecture and maintenance of Optimum Business' digital sales experience for 1st party and 3rd party sales agents alike. This role will directly enable our sales teams by managing the roadmap of optimizations and new features for the digital tools they use everyday, helping to guide a team of technical analysts, developers, and platform administrators who will make it real. Understanding the different sales cycles across channels and customer types will be crucial for creating targeted experiences appropriate for each sales approach. The chosen candidate will be able to integrate processes across network serviceability, catalog management, audience segmentation, prospecting, order entry, payments, field management, provisioning, and data quality or augmentation. In addition, this role must contribute to developing and implementing metrics-based, ROI driven business cases. He or she must be able to recommend new opportunities, highlighting innovative ideas and techniques to build on an ever-evolving list of tactics meant to lower operational costs and boost engagement for new and existing customers across the various stages of their account and product lifecycles. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00-$105,570.00/year.
