"I can succeed as a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Capital Group." As a Strategic Sourcing Manager within the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) group, you will lead a team responsible for establishing and executing sourcing strategies and plans that support business partner and enterprise-wide priorities. You will help drive business value by managing business partner relationships and acting as a primary contact for strategic sourcing activities related to our Global Distribution portfolio. This includes our Global Client Groups (Marketing & Sales), Retirement Plan Services, as well as Investor and Advisor services. You will act as a strategic business partner for senior business leaders in Global Distribution. You will leverage industry best practice, your business, financial and data acumen, and external analysis to inform and influence business strategy and decision making. You will leverage your expertise to develop goals and objectives for the team and department that will align activity to strategic initiatives. You will develop a high performing team. This will include coaching, mentoring, matching talent to stretch opportunities and managing performance. Your scope will include managing strategic sourcing teams through the execution of end-to-end sourcing, contracting, contract management, and supplier management processes including advising teams on category/portfolio strategy, project planning, sourcing strategies, negotiation tactics and participating in or leading negotiations on large or more complex engagements. You have experience working in a high performing team and your success has been built on a foundation of strong communication skills, a customer centric mindset, and superior critical thinking skills. In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
