Description

The YMCA of the North Shore is seeking a Family Membership Coordinator to enhance family membership value by leading the Welcome Center, managing staff schedules, and overseeing the Family Engagement Team. This role focuses on creating high-quality programs, leading the Kids Club, planning family events, and fostering strong relationships with our members.

Key Responsibilities:

Family Engagement & Team Leadership:



  • Lead the Family Engagement Team (FET) in creating programs aligned with YMCA's mission.
  • Develop activities that promote healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to increase family participation and membership value.


Kids Club Supervision & Coordination:



  • Manage Kids Club scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage and a high-quality experience.
  • Train and oversee Kids Club staff to meet membership expectations.
  • Continuously improve the Kids Club to enhance its value for families.


Event Planning & Execution:



  • Plan and execute family-centered events to strengthen member engagement.
  • Work with Membership Sales Director to generate leads and boost event participation.
  • Lead special events during school vacation weeks and increase attendance.


Member Engagement:



  • Provide excellent service and build strong relationships with families via in-person, phone, and email communication.
  • Serve as the welcoming point of contact for families, ensuring their needs are met.

Qualifications


  • Must be at least 21 years of age.



  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.



  • Must demonstrate appropriate knowledge of child growth and development.



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment



  • Must maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.



  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills and a desire to serve the community.
