Audiologist, Center For Child Development Per Diem Day
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for evaluating and diagnosing the extent of hearing loss and related disorders in the pediatric population and recommending the appropriate treatment/management including aural rehabilitation and hearing aides. Determines the type, degree, symmetry, stability and configuration of hearing loss. Provides diagnostic audiologic services to adult clients of the Valley Hospital Community Care Center.
Hours of operation include 7a-7p M-R, 7a-5p F, 8a-130p Sat
EDUCATION:
Masters degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university. Current and valid license and registration to practice as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser in the State of New Jersey.
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or health care setting.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Effective communication skills (oral, writing, presentation) and interaction skills to effectively communicate and interact with staff and members of the general public and respond quickly to the customer's request and/or needs. Ability to handle interruptions and adapt to changes in the workload and work scheduled. Ability to set priorities and solve problems.
