Overview

LMI is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee and deliver a multi-disciplinary transformation within a military health client space and spearhead the oversight and growth of a portfolio of projects and strategic partnerhsips within this client space. The primary client program will require the Program Manager to lead a team of consultants, designers, and technologists, tasked with assisting the military health client in standing up an innovation cell within thier organization. In addition to excellent leadership, contract management, and business accumen, the Program Manager should have technical experience in standing up cross-functional program offices, establishing design thinking-led organizational pracrices, developing cutting edge technologies and business processes, and fostering a culture of scaled innovation. This role is designed for an energetic self-starter who will excel in project delivery, managing and nurturing a strategic partnership, driving growth, promoting our offerings and solutions, and positioning LMI for future expansion. This position is based in Tysons, VA but will require regular travel to various client locations.



Responsibilities

Project Oversight and Leadership:

    Provide strategic direction and oversight for a large, cross functional project.
  • Develop project plan for delivery of the work and track progress on an ongoing basis.
  • Serve as main POC for client communications.
  • Oversee resources and teaming partner subcontractors and ensure optimal mix of practitioners from a skills and capability perspective to deliver work successfully.
  • Track project financials to ensure work is being delivered in alignment with budget expectations.

Defining Teaming Partnership Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a framework to define roles and responsibilities during all phases of a project lifecycle that align with LMI's strategy and objectives.
  • Define execution / implementation roadmap, associated activities, and roles that LMI and our teaming partner will play.
  • Tailor roles and responsibilities based on the requirements of individual opportunities, as needed.
  • Define teaming partnership goals, metrics, and success criteria to measure effectiveness of the business partnership.

Strategy and Growth:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify and pursue partnership opportunities that align with LMI's strategy and objectives.
  • On an ongoing basis, collaborate with teaming partner in the identification and shaping of net new opportunities to continue driving growth.
  • Lead RFP/RFQs and coordinate SBIR activities on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage and update pipeline opportunities.

Partnership Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key teaming partner stakeholders, ensuring ongoing communication and relationship management.
  • Work with teaming partners to co-create joint value propositions and collaborative initiatives, as needed.

External Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with potential clients and external stakeholders to enhance LMI's access, presence, and influence.
  • Collaborate with teaming partner in advance of client/stakeholder interactions to ensure seamless experience for critical decision makers.

Internal Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with LMI Market and Service Line / Subservice Line leadership to provide strong subject matter expertise aligned with partnering opportunities.

Contract / TA Negotiations:

  • Support contracting activities associated with partnering opportunities.
  • Broker teaming agreements with guaranteed workshare.

Service Delivery Excellence:

  • Deliver high quality services that exceed client expectations, while managing cost and schedule.
  • Collaborate with SLs and SSLs for optimal staff deployment and delivery.
  • Contribute to hiring, staffing, and retention in partnership with TA and SLs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Masters of Business Administration, or similar degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in management consulting with an emphasis on developing roadmaps that tie strategy to execution.
  • Experience leading projects for the Department of Defense and/or Military Health clients preferred.
  • Experience delivering technology, process, and workforce related transformations preferred
  • Experience working with product designers, service designers, total experience SMEs, and solution architects to identify, develop, and scale innovation opportunities
  • Experience leading or working with "innovation cell" organizations
  • Proven experience managing P&L and federal government contracts, with a preference for managing portfolios over at least $10 million.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex contracts, exceeding customer expectations and driving growth.
  • Proven experience managing key strategic relationships / alliances with external parties.
  • Strong collaborative skills in a matrixed organization.
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams.

Target Salary: $150,000 - 190,000. Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
