What you'll do A Compliance Analyst plays a pivotal role in the Security Operations department, managing audits, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and serving as a compliance expert. Their responsibilities include organizing annual audits, coordinating with assessors and internal teams, translating audit requirements into actionable tasks, and responding to customer security concerns and questionnaires. They also oversee evidence collection for customer demands, support security posture improvements, and monitor cloud computing costs. This role involves serving as a key point of contact for compliance-related queries and becoming proficient in frameworks like NIST 800-53, SOC, and FERPA. Who you are The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, a quick learner, and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. A strong understanding of security and technology concepts is essential, as is the ability to interpret complex security requirements. Familiarity with compliance frameworks or prior compliance experience is a valuable asset. The right fit is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, maintains a positive attitude under pressure, and exhibits strong analytical and detail-oriented capabilities.
