Develop, implement, and assess innovative programs, services, and leadership opportunities in the pursuit of orientation, retention, and transition excellence. (JOB SUMMARY) Responsible for the design, implementation, management, and evaluation for one or more Student Life Programs. Serves as a campus agent in promoting programs and coordinates student involvement and support for those opportunities. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: student, parents, faculty members, representatives of community organizations. This position typically will advise and counsel: students and campus representatives. This position may supervise: students, interns and staff. Job Summary
The Assistant Director of New Student & Transfer Programs will coordinate and develop New Student and Transition Programs. Programmatic focus will be FASET Orientation, along with additional transitional programs as needed. The Assistant Director will assist the Assistant Dean of Students/Director of New Student and Transition Programs in the management of the office and programs and provide administrative support as needed. This position will work with campus partners to coordinate orientation programs. Additionally, the Assistant Director will train student leader staff. This position will interact on a regular basis: students, parents, and staff members. This position typically will advise and counsel: students and campus representatives.
