POSITION OBJECTIVE: To assist legal department, obtain or refine in-house/ transaction legal skills, and complete all corporate externship requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft and review contracts.
• Review social media and other marketing assets.
• Search for trademarks and research digital law matters.
• Assist in compliance policies and procedures.
• Organize and maintain the contract management system.
• Research current topics, laws and regulations.
• Other corporate law matters as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/BA.
• Minimum completion of 1 year of law school coursework.
• Must have excellent analytical skills.
• Must have strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
• Must possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, the ability to take initiative and set priorities, and to work independently and in cooperation with others.
• Flexible hours (min. of 40 hours). Hybrid - 3 days in office. Preferred start date is mid to end of May - End date is early August (depending on scheduling of hours).
