The Buckhead Center is home to Robinson's executive and graduate programs. The Center features technologically advanced lecture-style classrooms, flexible classrooms, and breakout rooms. The Business Affairs Coordinator for the Buckhead Center Robinson College operational services team will require a high level of attention to detail and a methodical and intentional approach to their work. Many of the responsibilities of this role require making critical decisions independently to ensure classes located at the Buckhead Center are scheduled and supported accurately and appropriately. This is a customer service-focused role that has the potential to interact with all Robinson faculty, staff and students, as well as various GSU departments and external clients.

Robinson College of Business is seeking (1) Business Affairs Coordinator who has a high level of attention to detail and a methodical and intentional approach to their work.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

On a day-to-day basis, the Business Affairs Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

* Maintaining the classroom schedule to ensure appropriate rooms are reserved and staffing is scheduled, requiring open communication with the college scheduler to ensure that any changes are captured quickly and correctly. Communicating classroom operational processes to faculty, and addressing related questions and concerns.

* Managing the departmental work center to prioritize, address and distribute all custodial, engineering, access control and ancillary requests to the property management team. Communicating building operational processes to faculty and staff. Responsibility for covering the office during business hours.

* Maintaining the access control database for the center, including granting building and room access to Robinson faculty, staff and students. Schedule weekly classroom and event space access.

* Receive large deliveries and distribute mail to multiple departments across the Buckhead Center.

* Supporting the Assistant Director in developing processes and procedures around space scheduling and facility use.

* Assisting Manager with interviewing, scheduling and supporting the student staff team.

* Maintaining departmental records for student assistant employee records, inventory tracking, and college-wide onboarding/offboarding.

* Distribute monthly invoices to internal departments. Verify monthly student parking requests. Distribute and track parking validations for faculty. Serves as petty cash holder for the department. Support Business Manager with day-to-day responsibilities as needed.

* Responsible for scheduling all internal departmental meetings.

* Assisting with Intranet updates, departmental communications and social media.

* Supporting the entire department with operational responsibilities as needed. Cross-training in other departmental responsibilities to act as a backup during absences.

  • Teacher Retirement System -- TRS is a Defined Benefit Plan, a traditional public pension plan. Employees contribute 6% and USG contributes 19.81% to the plan. Your retirement benefit is calculated by factoring years of service, final salary and 2% multiplier. Employees are vested after 10 years.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and two years of business management experience or a combination of education and related experience.
