Position Summary:

• The Maintenance Mechanic is resonsible for a full range of duties associated with the maintenance, repair and inspection of various healthcare facilities and outpatient care center's utility systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Receives instruction and assists in performing a variety of diverse tasks.
• Exercises technical guidance and operates in accordance to the procedures and policies within the Facilities Department.

Shift:

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Evening Shift

(Weekends may be required with advance notice)

Location: All Children's Hospital

St. Petersburg, FL.

Education/ Experience

• High school diploma or equivalency required
• 3 years of healthcare experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Qualifications:

• Ability to complete advanced equipment and system repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to effectively communicate with leadership and team members for the purpose of solving equipment or system related problems.
• Ability to read and understand the English language, colors, system schematics, drawings, diagrams and prints.
• Valid driver's license.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.47 per hour - Maximum 29.55 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
