Role Description & Responsibilities

Our Dassault Systemes R&D Robotics Applications Development team is excited to announce we have a hybrid internship opportunity available in our Royal Oak, MI office!

The R&D Robotics Applications Development team at Dassault Systemes is responsible for developing applications used for simulation of industrial robots.



  • Work with developers to create and implement new programming interfaces for our partners and customers to customize and access our robotics application components.
  • Write components and scripts for automated testing.
  • Enhance EKL (Enterprise Knowledge Language), Visual Basic Scripts and C++ libraries for Robotics Simulation Applications by creating new programming interfaces and write scripts to validate them
  • Perform software performance tests, debug and deliver solution to improve the performance
  • Collaborate with Development Engineers to achieve the objectives and team goals
  • Present your work to the team, demonstrating your contribution to the success of the team.


Some knowledge of the following areas is invaluable:

* Experience in 3D CAD software.

* Strong functional use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Ability and willingness to self-teach new and advance software functions; coaching and instruction will be provided, but we want someone who goes after knowledge

Qualifications

* Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's degree within Engineering or Computer Science

* Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0

* Well-developed coding skills in C++

* Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments

* Highly organized with critical attention to details

In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $20 - $40 per hour.
