Diagnostic System Specialist / Medical Technologist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled professional to join our team as a Diagnostic System Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and installing laboratory equipment within our facilities.

You will initiate and oversee a comprehensive qualification process, which includes conducting correlation, precision, and carryover studies to ensure equipment performance meets our stringent standards. Your duties will also encompass providing thorough training to key operators, ensuring they are proficient in using the equipment effectively. Utilizing EP Evaluator, you will be tasked with data analysis to identify any necessary sample repetitions and review this data with key stakeholders to maintain our commitment to accuracy and quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing all required documentation associated with these processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational excellence of our laboratory and ensuring the reliability of our results.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Revenue Recognition: Expedite the process.
  • Training: Enable accounts to operate platforms independently.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a positive experience.
  • Workflow Consultation: Optimize platforms to fit customer workflows.
  • Achieve Implementation Goals: Collaborate with accounts to ensure the successful installation and operation of Clinical Diagnostic Group (CDG) products.
  • Sales Opportunities: Identify and communicate opportunities, including adding to the existing menu or matching other platforms to customer needs.


What You Bring:



  • Education: Four-year degree in Medical Technologist (MT) and Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) OR a two-year degree in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with lab experience.
  • Work Experience: Three years or more experience working in a diagnostic laboratory environment. Blood Bank and/or Immunology experience is a plus.
  • Customer Interaction: Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Training Experience: Skilled in training staff/customers on complex instrumentation processes.
  • Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $73,400 to $101,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
