Job Description Role: Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Develop individually and with the support of a strategic partner, from concept to delivery, varied print and digital pieces that are audience-relevant, support brand standards, create a cohesive experience, and align with strategic objectives. Support and communicate the brand vision, mission, values, and personality to create impact and differentiation. Support the enhancement of the Gulf Winds website and other digital channels by creating compelling brand imagery. Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to create visually appealing landing pages and digital assets that ensure an exceptional user experience. Serve as a key resource for the credit union's photography and video needs. Support internal communications, community events, and marketing objectives by planning and creating testimonials, interviews, how-to videos, and other multimedia projects as needed. Design high-quality, scalable graphics and utilize HTML within Gulf Winds' Marketing Automation Platform to support email marketing initiatives and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the Marketing team to strategize creative approaches and campaign elements and maintain and manage the Credit Union's brand standards and guidelines. Share ideas and opinions and resolve conflicts. Seek education in the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in design and marketing in the financial industry sector. Participate in HubSpot training and certifications to increase technical knowledge as it relates to marketing automation template design and strategy. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: Develop advanced creative materials that support strategic messaging and drive member growth to help achieve the Credit Union's mission and goals. Be able to visually define and communicate brand vision, mission, values, and tone. Evaluate and manage the impact and effectiveness of brand design. Complete all assigned responsibilities within the designated timeframe with zero unresolved errors according to established department standards despite deadline pressures. Ensure all forms of communication are accurate, timely, and collaborative. Ensure a high level of attention to detail in creative materials in alignment with the Credit Union's brand standards. Ensure regulatory compliance. Provide informed, prompt, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates. Maintain high interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Demonstrate a self-starter attitude with the ability to take ownership. Provide recommendations on the best format/type of media for projects. Provide conversions of print pieces to digital media. Resolve MAC to PC file compatibility issues. Maintain and increase knowledge through professional literature and educational programs that support the Credit Union's vision and mission. Embrace learning and champion change. Comply with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC, and Physical Security. Knowledge and Skills: Experience: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience. Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). Interpersonal Skills: In addition to normal courtesy and tact, a significant level of trust and diplomacy is required. Work may involve motivating or influencing. Outside contacts are essential, and fostering sound relationships is necessary. Must have the ability to receive constructive feedback. This position requires consistent presence in the office to collaborate with team members and fulfill job responsibilities effectively. It requires actively participating in conference calls and meetings with other Credit Union team members and vendors. Other Skills: The Senior Graphic Designer must be detail-oriented and organized, with excellent problem-solving and creative-thinking skills. The candidate should be highly motivated and energetic. Strong technical competency, typography skills, and an understanding of design principles and branding are critical. Deep experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required. Must have the ability to follow an established visual identity. Must have experience with print production. Working knowledge of HTML preferred. Proficiency in photography and videography, including pre-production, filming, and editing, is preferred. Physical Requirements: This role requires sitting at a computer for most of the day. This role would also require the ability to file files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. Work Environment: The position is based in the office in our Pensacola, Florida, market. It operates primarily in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Normally expected to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. After-hours work or travel required to meet project deadlines or attend conferences, seminars, or meetings.
