Make banking a Fifth Third better GENERAL FUNCTION: Investigates, monitors and reports on cases involving potential threats to the Bank to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for filing applicable reports and escalating financial crime related matters when appropriate. Provides guidance to other specialists with respect to training and case evaluation. To analyze, investigate and report on cases involving potential threat to the bank and to ensure that the Bank is in compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Banks risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
BANK SECRECY ACT REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for adhering to the reporting and recordkeeping requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering rules and regulations, observing economic sanctions by prohibiting transactions as specified by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), following the bank's customer identification program (CIP) rules, observing all Bank policies and procedures relating to BSA, OFAC, CIP, and related acts, and participation in ongoing related training. The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as geographic location, specific position requirements and individual skills, experience, and education. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
