Facilities Coordinator Compass Health is currently looking for a Facilities Coordinator to support our team at Everett! What you will be performing The Facilities Coordinator plays a critical role, serving as the main point of contact to provide courteous and timely responsiveness to Facilities service requests at all Compass Health commercial properties. This role is responsible for self-performing repairs and maintenance, aligning with organizational goals and ensuring operational excellence across all properties. A successful facilities coordinator must be able to efficiently create a schedule and promptly communicate timelines and updates with all levels of staff, while optimizing the organization's preventative maintenance plan(s.) This position will require working knowledge of all building systems, and the demonstrated ability to make repairs in compliance with building codes and Company standards and best practices for safety and appearance.
- Maintenance & Repair Management: Ensure all maintenance and repair requests across assigned facilities are completed according to scope, quality, and safety standards, to ensure prompt service ticket resolution. Proactively identify and troubleshoot facility issues, resolve problems promptly, and communicate efficiently as issues arise. Develop and implement a routine cadence to meet with site managers for all assigned locations and to self-perform site condition assessments. Proactively notify Facilities Director of any developing patterns of consistent issues and/or repairs.
- Facility Operations: Ensure assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use. Technical understanding of how to repair building systems, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC is required. Maintain working relationships with dedicated fire/life safety and janitorial service vendors, ensuring that contracted services meet organizational needs, contractual agreements, and financial objectives.
- Project Coordination: Occasionally act as a project coordinator, overseeing and executing projects such as furniture relocations, equipment upgrades/replacements, and other similar small-scale needs on behalf of the organization.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to efficiently and proactively schedule and lead walkthroughs and required site inspections at all assigned properties. Ability to provide proactive, written communication regarding all site visits to Program and Office Managers is required to succeed in this role.
- Budgeting & Financial Tracking: Ensure Facilities vendors submit invoices to Accounts Payable which properly reflect the work performed and assist as needed to approve invoices for payment. Maintain a working log of time & materials associated with each service ticket and sustain an appropriate inventory of materials on hand.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborate with security vendors and implement measures to safeguard all properties. Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
- Ability to plan and attend virtual team meetings in an effective, collaborative manner.
- Demonstrate astute technological skills to respond to work order requests in the field, via company-issued equipment.
- Participate in regularly scheduled supervision and team meetings.
- Remains compliant with required trainings and certifications.
- Behave in an ethical and professional manner consistent with agency policy, state law, and licensing entities if applicable.
- Perform miscellaneous light porter duties and item disposal requests as assigned.
- Occasionally responds to after-hours or weekend emergency calls.
- Understand and practice safekeeping of client protected health information per Compass Health's HIPAA and other agency policies and procedures.

What you will be carrying along
- Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, or other similarly relevant field. Equivalent related hands-on repair experience accepted in lieu of formal degree.
- 4+ years of building repairs and maintenance experience is required
- Certifications: Facility Management Certificate (FMC) or equivalent credentials desired, but not required.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License with required insurance; including full-time access to a private vehicle and appropriate insurance coverage.

- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of building repair and maintenance best practices and principles, including advanced experience with improvement projects.
- Familiarity with standard safety protocols, regulatory and building code requirements, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to effectively self-manage workloads and scheduling in fast-paced environments. Novice level computer proficiency, including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office programs both on desktop and mobile. Ability to run basic reports and work in a virtual environment using multiple platforms and systems.
- Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check, which may or may not include an additional search by DSHS.
The employee will be required to go to several sites and review facilities and may at times be required to lift heavy items up to 50lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to lift heavy equipment and should be comfortable standing and or walking for long periods of time. The employee must be comfortable setting up and ascending/descending ladders, as well as accessing roofs, and comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
