Technical Training Specialist Washington DC / Hybrid Pay From: $60,000 per year MUST: Seasoned Technical Trainer Eligible for high level public Trust and eligible for DoD Secret and Top Secret clearance 3+ years of work experience in training and development as well as instructional design, teaching, and technical writing Experience providing training for IT support and help desk roles Experience with and ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures, informative documentation, training guides, and necessary scripts for service members Ability to communicate and present a technical subject matter in an understandable, coherent manner Experience working in a help desk or call center environment is a plus Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities Strong interpersonal skills and able to work well with all levels of professionals Must get the HDI-CSR certification within 60 days of starting the role Relevant certifications are a plus PMP or ITIL certifications are a plus Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or field is required DUTIES: The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and deployment of training plans for team members in the IT services division that address the needs of all Division users Developing reports that include the number and types of training classes delivered, quantity of students attending each class, and the names of the trainers who delivered the training Capture and report results of training evaluations Function as the Administrator, recording learning, adding and scheduling courses, and running reports Creating and maintaining a training calendar distributed to all Division users, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs in order to provide recommendations for improvement Training for new software/hardware may also need monitoring and reporting for special projects Training curriculums created shall be approved and accommodations for users requiring special needs addressed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
