Position Summary

This position's main responsibility is to assemble, maintain and test Grayloc Products as required. Support our clients globally.

LOCATION

* Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.
* Travel is minimal, may consist of local Field Service, Out- of-Town Field Service and may require 10% International travel with Field Service.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

* Perform maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment.
* Read and comprehend basic hydraulic and electrical schematics.
* Read and comprehend basic drawings, specifications, and procedures.
* Operate general hand, hydraulic and air tools.
* Rig / de-rig equipment for movement with cranes, forklifts, and winches.
* Differentiates between various hydraulic and pneumatic mechanical system.
* Keep Assembly area clean and organized.
* Other duties as assigned working in the stencil dept. (Operating Marking Machines & Stenciling by Hand. Includes reworking / painting clamps.).

Qualifications

REQUIRED

* Minimum 2 year of related experience Assembly Technician / Field Service Technician.
* Minimum 1 year of experience with Word and Excel.
* Require a Passport for International travel. (Field Service).

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is considered SHOP/OUTDOOR WORK which is characterized as follows.

* Occasionally outdoors during the day and occasionally at night.
* Primarily indoor during the day with HVAC
* Well-lit Work Area
* Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment.
* Noise can be over 85 decibels.
* Occasional exposures to sparks during grinding.
* Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.
* The work surface is stable.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/REQUIREMENTS

This position is considered HEAVY work.

OCCASIONAL

* May work in confined spaces work while lying on his stomach/back, crawl, and use repetitive movements of the arms and hands.
* Differentiate between colors.
* Wear PPE for skin protection.

FREQUENT

* Max lift 35 pounds.
* Wear PPE for head, hands.
* Climb stairs/ladders, stand, balance, stoop, squat, reach, and lift/carry objects.
* Twist, sit with back supported, head forward/flexed, head tilted/rotated.
* Work with arms extended below the waist, unsupported, elbows flexed, wrist supported and unsupported.
* Operate a motor vehicle.

CONSTANT

* Lift 10-20 pounds.
* Standing and walking.
* Wear PPE for body, vision, and hearing protection.
* Steel/safety toed shoes/boots.
