GENERAL SUMMARY: Reports to Medical Center(s) Administrator and/or the Director of System Facilities, the Facilities Supervisor schedules and organizes the daily operational needs for building maintenance and Mail Room services of the Medical Center(s) and Region. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School Diploma/ G.E.D. are required. Higher education is preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in facilities management, including hands-on supervision of staff and vendors is required. Minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in the operation and maintenance of commercial/institutional buildings is required. Knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing/Life safety/ electrical/engineering and architectural maintenance in a commercial setting is required; health care environment preferred. Ability to use hand and powered tools, knowledge of building codes and OSHA workplace regulations. Experience with CCTV and Access Control Systems. Experienced operating and maintaining MEP and Fire Alarm and Suppression systems. Experience with competitive bidding and purchasing processes (preferred). Proficient with PC and experience with using CMMS, spreadsheet, scheduling, email, and any other relevant software programs. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure in at least one of the following fields: Engineering, Contracting, Electrical or Plumbing is preferred.
