Medical Receptionist - Dermatology Vienna, Virginia Pay From: $18 per hour MUST: Experience Medical Receptionist Must have 1 plus years of experience as a Medical Receptionist Must have experience working with EMR; knowledge of Nextgen and/or EMA is preferred Must have experience working in a busy fast pace environment Must have experience handling insurance verifications Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must have strong customer service experience Dermatology experience is highly preferred DUTIES: Registers new patients with complete and accurate demographics according to procedure Verifies patient's insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit Updates patients' charts so that the information is entered correctly Scans documents into the electronic medical record as directed. Completes work daily to compile missing demographic and insurance information for billing purposes Obtain prior authorizations for care Answer phones taking patient demographic information Other duties as assigned *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
