Job Description

Lab Technician 1



  • Working in our Bioassay Department, part-time, as-needed. Weekend work is mandatory, but likely about 4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday. Total hours needed likely to be around 20 - 30 per week. Work involves setting up toxicity tests using both daphnia and minnow fry. Working on the tests while they are being performed, then breaking down the tests once completed. Use of microscopes, pH meter, conductivity meter, dissolved oxygen meters.
