This position supports interactions with the investment community to elevate and manage a best-in-class investor relations strategy. Position is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the investor relations program for a global, mega-cap public corporation in collaboration with the Head of Investor Relations. Assists in managing relationships with institutional investors and analysts in order to accurately and effectively communicate the company's results, strategy and performance. Must be comfortable and effective working closely with the company's executive team, primarily the CEO, CFO and business leadership, to ensure the appropriate two-way understanding of leveraging issues, perspectives and information flow. Incumbent must be an effective communicator with a strong grasp and understanding of the chemical industry, LyondellBasell's businesses and strategies as well as financial modeling and analysis. The position is viewed as a developmental assignment for a rising, high-potential employee who will leverage their acquired knowledge of the investment community in subsequent commercial or staff leadership assignments with the company.
