Job Summary

Develop and conduct training programs for employees. Training includes system navigation, tools for resolution, interpersonal and team skills, technical and critical thinking skills. Design both core and elective courses, prepare material and facilitate presentations. Measure program effectiveness and adapt accordingly to support department and organizational goals. Record new policy and procedures as well as monitor and complete updates needed.

Essential Function
  • Preparing tools for training, ensuring all information is current. Ensure all documents are well organized while in training and as needed outside of a class.
  • Provide technical, product, policy and procedure training to new and existing Department hires as well as one-on-one training.
  • Training other departments on the department structure and workflow.
  • Confer with leadership to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training for employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
  • Select or develop teaching aids such as handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, procedure manuals and reference works.
  • Audit all areas for adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Represent the department in related meetings and committees.
  • Prioritize projects according to business needs as directed by the Manager.
  • Implement project plans and communicate progress while documenting all project information, including testing, desired outcomes, etc.
  • Maintenance of Policies and Procedures (P&P's)
  • Responsible for updating of departmental policies and procedures which will includes technical writing.
  • Annually reviewing all P&P's.
  • Will facilitate the P&P committee meetings.
  • Provides PHIN and Policy Tech editing.
  • Educational Administration
  • Assign and manage production-based work for trainees during and after training under released to production team.
  • Monitor progress, provide feedback, evaluate performance and assist with ongoing questions.
  • Take questions and provide support to people on the floor for training needs related to procedures interpretation or newly released material.
  • Provide ongoing support or one on one training when quality or production outcomes identify this activity is necessary.
  • Accountable for the success of their trainees.
Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 5 years of relevant experience related experience

Preferred

  • Associate's degree
