About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital

In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of Work

Under the direction of the site designated leader, provides coordination of daily operations and acts as a resource for ultrasound staff/department. Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other related duties. Assists with daily schedules of staff and patient to ensure efficient and safe patient flow. Supports staff in acquisition of optimal images. Assist leadership when need to ensure employees perform necessary quality assurance and quality control on all equipment. Help assists in the interview process/candidate selection, in training and monitoring new staff/students.

This is a Cardiac Ultrasound position; only RDCS, ACS, or RCS credential is required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years' clinical experience US staff sonographer level.
  • Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Must be registered in at least one (ABD or OB/GYN).
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association.
