Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Leadership and Patient Care: Oversee the nursing team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and the ANA Code for Nurses. Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and coordinate interdisciplinary care.

  • Promote Professional Development and Education: Foster a learning environment through mentorship, staff development, and patient education tailored to individual needs. Emphasize safety and best practices to improve outcomes.

  • Ensure Operational Excellence and Compliance: Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by managing resources, meeting regulatory standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Take accountability for supervising staff and ensuring adherence to healthcare guidelines.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Diploma from an RN program

Experience:

  • Three years experience as a staff nurse in surgery.

License(s)/Certifications(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
    • Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification within 90 days.
