Clive Behavioral Health opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at our new hospital focuses on crisis management, stabilization, and development of a plan to return to community living.

Qualifications

Medical Billing Specialist

The Medical Billing Specialist generates bills for patient stays, follows up on submitted claims for reimbursement, works denied claims and sets up payment plans with patients. The Billing Specialist will be scheduled 40 hours per week. This is NOT a remote position.

Job Requirements:

  • 6 months of Medical Billing Experience Required
  • Good communication and relationship skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of medical terminology.

Preferred Skills:

  • MS4 and Waystar Knowledge
  • Cash posting knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret EOBs
  • Claim denial management
  • Ability to utilize Excel

Education: Highschool diploma or equivilant

Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday

This is not a remote positon. Candidate must be available to wrok on site in Clive, Iowa.
