At Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services, we are helping to create brighter, healthier futures for our patients and their families. We are the Piedmont Triad's only private psychiatric hospital meeting the chemical dependency illnesses and behavioral healthcare needs of those in our community. Our 164-bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients. Old Vineyard is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Our ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking skills, great communication skills with the ability to engage positively with patients, staff, families, providers, etc., Must work well under pressure with several competing priorities and maintain professionalism at all times. Maintenance Supervisor, FT (Days) The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient operation of hospital buildings, equipment and grounds through oversite of Maintenance staff and performance of skilled maintenance, repair and construction duties. Position Duties:
Qualifications General Job Requirements Education - High School Graduate or Equivalent Technical Experience - Minimum five years' experience in various building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC. Capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting complex maintenance issues. Minimum 1 year experience in supervisory role. Minimum 1 year experience in following preventative maintenance program, specifically in a healthcare setting. Understanding of safety and general hospital operations. Previous experience in a Joint Commission accredited healthcare facility strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of use of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols. License/Certification - Current NC Driver's License with a good driving record as verified by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety required. CDL preferred. Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL) preferred. Skills - High school level reading, writing and math skills. Oral communication skills. Legible handwriting. Ability to concentrate in high traffic areas. Able to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Ability to interact with employees and patients with professionalism. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Available for 24-hour on call responsibilities. Skilled in motor vehicle operation with experience driving safely in ice and snow conditions. Physical Requirements
Environment - Worker is exposed to environmental conditions occurring inside and outside of the buildings where temperatures below 40 degrees for periods of more than an hour can be found and above 100 degrees for periods of more than an hour can be found. Job Hazards - Employee may be exposed to:
