Medical Receptionist - Ophthalmic Practice part time Alexandria, VA Pay From: $20 Per Hour MUST: 2+ years' experience working in a private practice medical office Answering phones Checking patients in and out Obtaining pre-authorizations Verifying insurance Collecting co-pays Flexible to work 12-4pm and fill in other hours as needed DUTIES: The Medical Receptionist- will be responsible for the following: Check patients in and out Schedule appointments Answer phones Check patients in and out Obtain pre-authorizations Verify insurance Document and update patient information into EMR- Take telephone messages for doctors Fill in for other staff as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
