Job Summary

Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as a Mechanical Engineer II working on mission critical components for Navy ships and submarines. Design, fabricate, and modify mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems in support of the US Navy and our allies. Pretty awesome, right?

What You Will Do
  • Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or services and investigate solutions to product or process problems
  • Responsible for technical activity and completion of assigned task on time and budget
  • Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems
  • Report of progress and status regularly
  • Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
  • Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments
  • Develop prototypes to retire key development risks
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of power electronics, power distribution, circuit board design, and/or semi-conductors is much preferred
  • Motivated and engaged; comfortable in a team environment but also okay with working independently sometimes
  • Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
