Engineering Intern

Under direct supervision, the Engineering Intern will work on a multi-discipline team of Engineers and Designers to support various types of project work in support of WAVE manufacturing, including machine design, modification to existing designs, and new development of manufacturing process fixtures. In addition, the Engineer Intern will perform drafting duties including creation of new design drawings and updating existing, development of schematics, layout drawings, and general assembly drawings in both 2D and 3D utilizing Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, support engineering project activities and tasks such as data collection, field measurements, project design and meeting attendance. The Engineering Co-Op will be required to learn and manipulate the main Engineering drawing file archive system. This position will work out of the corporate office location in Malvern, with some potential for light travel to our manufacturing location in Aberdeen Maryland.

Requirements



  • Qualified students need to be currently enrolled in a college program and have a minimum 2.50 GPA to be considered.
  • Majors in Mechanical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
  • Knowledge or experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
