EXCITED TO GROW YOUR CAREER? WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE! The Onsite Event Venue Coordinator is highly visible position, acting as the first point of contact for guests in the assigned venue. Responsible for greeting guests and providing appropriate direction, while delivering unparalleled levels of customer services and demonstrating strong communication skills. Manages the efficiencies, organization and cleanliness of the venue reception area. Displays vast knowledge of venue and ensures privacy and security of all guests by following guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

80% -

  • Meet and greets guests, exhibiting genuine and authentic energy and hospitality.

  • Responsible for handling and addressing guest questions, directing guests as needed, managing luggage/coat check and attending to special needs or requests.

  • Maintains organized reception area, managing supply inventory.

  • Assists with tasks for onsite events as assigned by the dedicated venue managers.

  • Handles confidential information and follows the venues standard operating procedures.

20% -

  • Act as venue ambassador, offering daily venue walk-throughs and demonstrating thorough knowledge of assigned venue.

  • Assists with shipping & receiving, data entry and various other administrative tasks.

Qualifications

1.Associates degree or equivalent experience required.

2.2+ years of professional experience required. Experience in the event or meeting management industry desired.

3.Strong interpersonal communication & customer service skills.

4.Proven organizational skills.

5.Ability to handle multiple demands.

6.Excellent computer skills, knowledge of G Suite, Microsoft Office tools & ability to learn new technology quickly.

7.Must be able to handle physical demands of the position which may include but are not limited to: extensive standing, lifting, etc.
